Zeitgold was a Berlin-based FinTech startup that digitized preparatory bookkeeping and financial management for small businesses. The software used Artificial Intelligence (OCR and Machine Learning) to scan receipts and invoices on smartphones, automatically extract data, and generate booking suggestions for tax advisors. Founded by the creators of SumUp, the company was successfully acquired by the US corporation Deel in 2021.
