The Max-Delbrück-Centrum für Molekulare Medizin (MDC) Berlin applies AI-driven analysis of large biomedical datasets from genomics, single-cell biology, and imaging diagnostics in its Data Science focus area. Interdisciplinary research groups develop machine learning methods to decode disease mechanisms, particularly in cardiovascular and cancer research. The MDC is part of the Helmholtz Association and closely cooperates with Charité – Universitätsmedizin Berlin.
