Cluster Science of Intelligence (SCIoI)

Science of Intelligence (SCIoI) is a DFG-funded Cluster of Excellence at TU Berlin, jointly conducted with HU Berlin, FU Berlin, the Max Planck Institute for Human Development, and BCCN Berlin, investigating the scientific foundations of intelligence – natural and artificial, individual and collective. The cluster operates across four research units with researchers from neuroscience, psychology, computer science, robotics, and mathematics, having identified eight candidate principles of intelligence. SCIoI is institutionally closely linked to BCCN Berlin (entry 108) and is funded under the Excellence Strategy of the German federal and state governments.
