Centrum für Biomedizinische Bild- und Informationsverarbeitung (CBMI), HTW Berlin

The Centre for Biomedical Image and Information Processing (CBMI) at HTW Berlin is an interdisciplinary research institution developing AI and machine learning methods for the analysis of large-scale biomedical data – in particular for imaging procedures (MRI, high-content screening), next-generation sequencing, and vital parameter monitoring. The goal is to develop real-time AI solutions for clinical routine use and privacy-compliant research infrastructures. In the medium to long term, CBMI is planned as part of a larger structure including a private research institute and a startup incubator.
