Born develops AI characters for social consumer apps that act as virtual friends and companions, building persistent memory and evolving over time. Its flagship product Pengu is a co-parenting app where two users jointly raise a virtual pet, aiming to strengthen real-world social bonds rather than replace them. Since 2022, Born has launched five consumer apps reaching #1 on the App Store and closed a $15M Series A led by Accel in September 2025.
